Boarding information for large vehicles
Vehicles are only permitted to board if they do not exceed:
2.5m width (cf. » Car transport carriage – large profile)
12m length
28t overall weight
The following rules must be observed for the journey:
All the vehicles drive through the entire train.
The drive-through width of the car transport carriages is 2.9m (also at the height of the wing mirrors).
Fold back or detach wing mirror of the driver's side.
Fold back wing mirror on the other side until the length of the vehicle can still
just about be seen.
Retract side aerials to at least the height of the vehicle roof, flatten roof
aerials (affix if necessary) or detach them (danger of touching overhead lines
when boarding and disembarking).
Vehicles may only be transported on carriages with a full-length roof.
Parking a vehicle on a carriage:
Park vehicle in the middle of the car transport carriage
(even distribution of weight).
Only one coach per carriage; no other vehicles to be parked in front the coach
on that carriage
Vehicles must not be parked on two carriages at once

Set radio to 88.2 MHz (DRS 1 for road and rail
information) and comply with any possible
instructions.
Leaving your vehicle (only when instructed by railway personnel)
Move vehicle forward to the end of the carriage
floor and pull over to the right as far as
possible so that the driver or passenger door
can be opened for you to leave the vehicle
Strictly comply with any instructions given by
railway personnel.
Leaving the train (only when instructed by railway personnel)
If you have to leave the train, only do so on
the tunnel-wall side (never step on the
neighbouring rails).
