Low-floor trains: Easy acces with wheelchair

Freedom of travel for everyone

BLS wants to enable disabled passengers to travel on its network both spontaneously and autonomously. Many pertinent measures such as the use of low-floor trains and buses, more elevated station platforms, and stepless access to counters, WCs, shops, etc. have been implemented already; others are being planned. The list below provides you with information about what services can be used where at present.

S-Bahn Berne

All the lines are served with low-floor trains or trains with at least one low-floor carriage.

S-Bahn Lucerne

The lines S6 and S7 are served with low-floor trains. The trains on line S61 don't have low-floor entrances.
