Information about the RailAway packages
Any offers marked “SBB RailWay Combi” are available from most manned railway stations in Switzerland or by telephone from Rail Service 0900 300 300 (CHF 1.19/min.) from the Swiss fixed-line network), as well as from BLS and RBS sales outlets. Some offers are only available through booking. Please note how long individual offers are valid.
Junior/Grandchild Card, annual season ticket, young people, OAPs, disabled people
Holders of Junior Cards/Grandchild Cards (for children/grandchildren of up to 16 years of age), of personal annual season tickets (adults, juniors and seniors), 1-day tickets (with the exception of children, fare-alliance day cards and municipal day cards) or another ticket of their own, and in some cases young people and holders of an ID to prove that they are recipients of old-age or disability pensions, can profit from reduced connection tickets and supplementary RailAway services.
In order to be able to benefit from such reductions, the relevant ticket must be purchased at the railway station counter before the trip. Please note the information on the relevant pages where the offers are described. IDs must be presented when buying and redeeming these tickets at the railway station and at the cash points of the relevant service providers. No reductions will be granted on site! Junior Card/Grandchild Card reductions can only be granted when at least one (grand)parent is a holder of a RailAway ticket.
Prices
Prices quoted for individual offers (also available for 1st class) are examples of journeys from major railway stations. Prices include the (return) rail journey along customary routes and additional services provided in the context of the various offers. All prices are per person and include VAT. Reductions are granted on published unit price.
1/2 prices for holders of half-fare cards
1/1 prices for adults without half-fare cards
Information about age in connection with RailAway offers must be understood as follows: prices which are stated to be valid for children up to 16 years of age apply up to and including the day before a child's 16th birthday.
Limited issuance
In certain cases, combined RailAway tickets are not available in the area of their respective destinations.
Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of participants.
