Spiez Castle – the medieval castle
Experience history where it happened
On a guided tour of Schloss Spiez, you will experience the transformation from a medieval fortress to a patrician residence in which the noble Strättligen, Bubenberg and Erlach families made their home. Discover the unique 12th century graffiti and take a trip back in time to the 17th century in the ballroom with its splendid stucco work.

Tuesday-Sunday: 11.00 - 17.00 hours
July and August until 18.00 hours
Journey
By rail or boat to Spiez, then about 15 minutes’ walk from Spiez Railway Station or about 5 minutes’ walk from the quay.
