Gemmipass Winter Hike
Experience nature in the winter mountains
The historic Sunnbüel Pass (1934 m) leads through magical winter scenery, past impressive mountain peaks and cosy inns in the Bernese Oberland to the Gemmi Pass (2314 m) in Valais. The well-prepared and safe route provides many opportunities, including with snow shoes, to discover and enjoy the incomparable winter landscape on a trip lasting around 3 hours.

The hike can also be undertaken with snowshoes. Good hiking boots and warm clothing recommended. The route is only open in good weather and snow conditions. |

With the RE Lötschberg train to Kandersteg, continue by bus to Kandersteg terminus, Sunnbüel Valley Station.
