Wonderful hiking in the snow. The Niederhorn is the starting point for attractive hikes in the snow. The Niederhorn–Hohwald–Waldegg winter hiking path is the longest and most appealing of its kind on the Niederhorn. On the way, you will enjoy the wonderful view of the Bernese Alps and lakes. The hike takes you from the mountain station via Hohwald to Waldegg in around 3 hours (10 km). You can return from there to Beatenberg or Interlaken West by postbus.
