JUMBO low-floor intermediate carriages
In cooperation with Bombardier Villeneuve, the BLS Workshops converted a total of 31 former EWI carriages into low-floor intermediate carriages for RBDe commuter trains.
Fitting-room carriage for the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB)
The Bönigen Workshop converted a carriage into a uniform fitting room on behalf of the SBB's Infrastructure Division.
BE 6/8 III 13302 "Crocodile" locomotive
A variety of overhaul jobs on the legendary "Crocodile" were carried out in the Spiez Workshop on behalf of the Betriebsgruppe 13302 association:
Overhaul of the entire undercarriage
Reconditioning of the axle box cases and wheel sets, including plummer blocks
Casting of new plain bearings
Reconditioning of all connecting rods
Refit of tippers to ballast wagons
The Oberburg Workshop replaced the dangerous manual tippers on 80 wagons with pneumatically powered hydraulic systems for Holcim and Hastag.
